Assisting and supporting personal tasks of daily life to enable the participant to live as autonomously as possible.

Wollondilly Shire Council aims to support local community groups to foster community participation, social connectedness and overall inclusion and accessibility by paying eligible providers directly for a $500 bus booking cost for community groups. Only Not-for-Profit Community Groups based in Wollondilly will be considered to be eligible through this subsidy program. It is the responsibility of each community group to contact the Council to ensure they are deemed eligible to access the subsidy program.
Council will maintain a confidential register of eligible community groups that will only be made available to approved transport providers and relevant Council staff.
Eligible activities include attending local events, community outings, or other enriching experiences that promote social connectedness and promote health and wellbeing. The subsidy program is only available for day trip bookings. To be eligible to receive the subsidy, each booking requires a minimum of five individuals to be in attendance.
The subsidy program is not available for the following:
To sporting clubs or school groups unless it is for the purpose of representing Wollondilly in a regional, state or national competition.
To any person or group for personal or family purposes.
For trips to the snowfields.
For holiday transfers, including airport and cruise terminal transport.
For any ‘party’ activities such as ‘bucks parties’, ‘hens parties’ or ‘brewery and
winery’ tours.
For activities that are ‘for profit’ making purposes

If you are not eligible for the rebate, the bus can still be booked for an hourly support staff community access rate per passenger plus a cost per km.
This service helps with the everyday cleaning and household activities that you are unable to do without assistance. It can involve general cleaning, food prep and cooking, decluttering, organising, help with hobbies, pet care and various other domestic duties.
Assistance in house or yard maintenance helps you remain independent and living in your own home for as long as possible. Your own equipment can be used, however, the support worker is equipped with everything needed to get the tasks completed.
